Walk Humbly

Home is not the refuge that it used to be. Work comes home with us. Homework comes home to us. Extra-curricular activities take us out of the house. TV’s, computers, and gaming systems prevent the house from becoming a home. All those bills have us wondering if there will ever be a house we can call our own. Where do we turn when the rat race runs us ragged? The Bible says that God is our refuge to whom we can always turn. The Lord desires an intimate relationship with us and takes pleasure in those who walk humbly before him. Adding a little personal devotion to our day helps us slow down and center ourselves in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Scripture assures us that it is a faith through which we find peace with God; a peace that passes understanding. Below are some ways that families at Hope Reformed Church focus on faith; ways that can shape your house into a home.

Worship
We worship every Sunday at 10am! We constantly seeking ways to create a multi-generational, multi-racial worship experience where people of different places, different races, and different ages can share their one faith and embrace one hope. If you play an instrument, like to sing, want to read, or just have a friendly smile, you're welcome to share your gifts in worship at Hope.

Fellowship
Each Sunday at 9:15 we host a lite breakfast of bagels, pastries, coffee, juice and fruit. Following the service there's more coffee and a cookie or two if you like. Full stomachs. Full souls. Come get your fill!

Sunday School
We have classes for all ages!! Starting at 11:15am the youngest to the oldest gather to explore God's Word and deepen their faith.

Worship Arts Wednesday
We believe that everyone has gifts that can make our worship experience more fruitful and more joyful. Too often teenagers are overlooked. Following our meal on Wednesday nights, the teenagers get to explore ways to join in worship. Whether its percussion, hip-hop, or other art projects, you're welcome to come explore with us at 6:45pm.

Movie Night
Once a month a group of us gather to talk about how movies impact our faith. We meet on Wednesdays around 7pm after our weekly meal. Check out the calendar on this website for more details.

Pajama Party!!
For the 3yr old-3rd graders among us. This is the time to come in your pajamas and not get in trouble for it. Each Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:45 we do crafts, watch movies, and listen to stories that help us know Jesus and love God.
